1) What was Brutus’ speech lacking that he couldn’t hold the audience?
He didn’t exactly explain what it was that Caesar was going to do or already did that was bad. All he had really said was “Had you rather Caesar were living, and die as slaves…” and He wasn’t explaining how Caesar made them slaves. He was lacking the explanation of what was wrong with Caesars rule, and what negative things Caesar was doing. What was Caesar doing that was so bad?
